Children and Thomas Church

Children and youth are important participants in the life of Thomas Church. During worship services, children participate in a special time of teaching. Children regularly serve as ushers, acolytes, choir members and greeters as well as participate in mission projects. We are blessed by their presence among us.
 

Children's Chat

Each Sunday at the 11:00 service children are invited forward for a brief time of sharing and insights for Christian living. Either Rev Jaberg or others lead this special time for children age 3- 5th grade.

Children's Sunday School (Infants - 5th Grade)

The Sunday School children gather in their classrooms at 9:45am to begin their time with a caring staff of teachers. At 10:30 children assemble in the Fellowship Hall for a time of singing, announcements and preparing mission projects. Parents are asked to pick up their children in the Fellowship Hall at 10:45am.

• Kindergarten and 1st grade - Room 2
• 2nd and 3rd Grade - Room 3
• 4th and 5th Grade - Room 7

Sunday Bible Fun

After the Children’s Chat at the 11:00 worship service children 3 years old to 2nd grade are invited to a special time of Bible Stories, crafts, games and prayer. You may pick up your child in Room 3 after the worship service.                                                                                                                                        

Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School is held for 1 week in June. It is a fun and exciting time for your child to experience the week of a lifetime. This year's program is June 22-26th in the evening.

Sunday School Singers

During the Sunday School Closing Assemble time {10:30} Julie Galati teaches the children fun music that reinforces Christian values and beliefs. The Sunday School Singers sing monthly in the 11:00 am worship services and on special occasions.

Nursery Care (Birth - age 3)

Baby and toddler ministry is available from 8:30-12:15pm. You can drop off your child in the nursery on the second floor of the Education Building. Our child care attendants provide loving care for your child in a safe environment.

Unicycle Club

The Wonders Unicycle Club meets every Tuesday night at 6:00 in the Christian Life Center. Love to ride anything on one wheel? We use a variety of unicycles including giraffes (tall), Cokers (36" wheel), MUnis (for off road riding) and even a BC wheel that has no frame or seat! Come join us and learn how to ride or just watch from the sidelines. It's amazing to see both children and adults riding unicycles! Click here for more information or to book The Wonders for a show.
