Rev. Linda McCardle Jaberg was born and raised in West Chester, PA. She attended West Chester State College and graduated from Gordon College with a major in History and a minor in Secondary Education. Following her call into ministry, she graduated from Princeton Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity degree with an emphasis in Pastoral Care.

Ordained in 1971, she began ministry as a Stated Supply at the Larson's Corner and Reaville in New Jersey. She served First Presbyterian Church of Safety Harbor, Florida as an Associate Pastor for seven years. After moving back to Pennsylvania, she served First Presbyterian Church of West Chester as Assistant Pastor for almost five years before becoming the Pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Altoona in 1988.

While in Altoona she became active in several community organizations, including the Board of Directors for the Blair County Children and Youth Services and the Board of the local Hospice services. Under her leadership, the congregation's weekly program to inner city children expanded to include a meal, recreation, library facilities, Bible Study, music and tutoring. The "Super Tuesday" ministry was recognized on the General Assembly level as an outstanding congregational based outreach to the community.

Linda came to Thomas Presbyterian Church in October 1996. In addition to serving as Head of Staff at Thomas, she is currently the Chairperson of Washington Presbytery's Council and serves on the Presbytery's Capital Campaign Cabinet. Occasionally, she provides leadership to other churches and Presbyteries in the areas of stewardship, church growth and evangelism.

In addition to playing tennis weekly, Linda is learning the game of golf. She enjoys gardening, photography and keeping up with her standard poodle, Gabe. Her son Peter and daughter-in-law Liz live in Orlando, Florida with their three children, Luke, Jake and Emma.
